UPDATE ON DANSK
by Physio init's been a long time since i posted here but i often read your messages when ian (dansk) logs on.
as most of you will know, ian will be going back into hospital on monday for an allogeneic stem cell transplant and will be away from the forum for a good few weeks (hopefully he'll be back home within 4-6 weeks).
last time he was in hospital many of you sent messages to his ward and i know they cheered him up immensely.

The C word
by ness inhow do your minds work people??.
the word 'cult'.
who is comfortable saying they were raised in a 'cult' or were brainwashed temporarily by a 'cult'?.

Mrs Smith
I have no problem telling people that JW is a cult. I want to educate as many people about it as I possibly can. The more people are aware of it the less chance of them getting invloved with the next JW at their door.

How to be seduced
by serendipity inhave you ever wondered what would happen if you took a psychometric test and it told you all your secret desires?
the way in which someone could ensnare you on the first date among other things?
if you dare to proceed, it will generate a complete step by step guide on how someone would seduce you from the first date all the way to your bed and you wouldn't be able to resist.

Mrs Smith is not necessarily promiscuous or lacks standards, but the overall answer patterns suggest that Mrs Smith is exceedingly sensitive to the psychological and physical elements of romance and passion, even to the point they, at times, may lack impulse control. People like this tend to love life with zeal, often living in the moment and trying not to let experiences pass them by, with many having engaged in a wider range of sexual behaviors, sometimes with a number of different partners. Someone like this is bound to be gregarious and flirtatious in public, becoming extremely sensual and wildly uninhibited behind closed doors. In fact, these individuals are amongst the most passionate of people when the timing is right.
NO WAY

Where were you when the planes hit?

I remember as Agent Smith said that I was the one to tell the rest of the office that a plane had hit the WTC. My immediate thought was that this ust have been deliberate. When I voiced that oppinion Agent Smith said that it must have been an accident. We then turned on a radio at work and heard that a second plane had hit we listened till it was home time with feelings of such disbeleif. The first thing we did was turn on the TV and watched the news. Agent Smith use to be a fire fighter so the news that so many had died that day really hit us hard. We cried through the news for the next two weeks. Everytime we saw people looking for loved ones we cried some more. It was really awful. Reading this thread has brought back all those feelings.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all that lost loved ones that day.

People often get names wrong I wouldn't read anything into them been called Jehovah's Witnesses of God. An article appeared here and they refered to the WBTS ans the Watchtower Tract and Bible Society. Just a reporter not doing their homework thats all.

The Effect of Losing Elders
by metatron inlosing elders in the us puts the organization into quite a dilemma.
they hate large congregations.
but can't split without enough appointed local 'enforcers'.

The elders are suppose to be "serving" the congregation. Nothing wrong with them doing mic duty for a change. I think less and less men are reaching out to become elders and MS. Soon they will have to call on the loyal sister. lol.
